Passion

It has been a long time since I last blogged. I am taking a class on preaching to children and youth. The professor is a loud and boisterous lady who is animated and dynamic. Although I have sat and listened to several teachers who had more engaging material, most of their lectures were gone as soon as I left the room. Yet this lecture is different. Why? Because of the professor's passion.
I wonder why so many teach but have no passion for what they are doing?
I hope I am never accused of lacking passion.
When I have done this for so many years, when I have preached one too many funeral sermon, when I have seen the congregation more than I have seen my wife... I hope I have passion for what I do for God!
